Seminar launches MySeminar

4 July 2007

With the release of Seminar Author 7, Information Transfer has announced a new service for all author licensees with a current Partner Support Plan.

The service, called ‘MySeminar’, allows authors to export their module to a dedicated, password-protected space on a Seminar server, and provide access to reviewers.

“We think MySeminar will help authors get their content reviewed and signed off faster,” said Rick Handy of Seminar. “People won’t have to e-mail courses around and they won’t have to ask IT to put their course on the network or Intranet.”

Another advantage of the MySeminar service is that modules are bookmarked, meaning progress is recorded and the reviewer can log out , log back in later, and resume from where they left off.

“MySeminar is another example of Seminar’s passionate commitment to lowering barriers to e-learning,” Rick said. “We are on a mission to make e-learning possible for everyone.”
