Information Transfer to speak at ACPO conference on Developing a National
E-learning Product

Information Transfer has been invited to speak at the forthcoming ACPO conference about the work they have been doing with the police in developing bespoke e-learning programmes to support police training using their popular, easy-to-use e-learning authoring software, Seminar Author.

The focus of the presentation will be a programme Information Transfer recently produced to help police staff understand Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR). Information Transfer will speak about how the project was approached and how the Seminar e-learning modules were successfully loaded onto the national police learning management system, NCALT.

Frank Whiteley, the Chief Constable of Hertfordshire Constabulary and ACPO ANPR lead, selected Information Transfer to develop the programme using Seminar Author, having been impressed by the work they were already doing for Hertfordshire and Thames Valley Police.

Other police forces currently licensing the Seminar software include West Midlands, Bedfordshire, Northumbria and British Transport Police.
